Our Fun Summer Sailing in Croatia, in August, will be an informal fun event, with the focus on having a fabulous fun holiday, catering for skilled and novice sailors alike – a challenging and enjoyable fun experience: “sailing with friends” and “cruising in company”.
If you are looking for a sailing holiday that combines some stunning scenery with superb sailing breezes then look no further than a great week of sailing around the Dalmatian Kornati Islands.
Depending on planning and weather, the route may take you into the Kornati National park, off the beaten track with beautiful uninhabited islands and bays to explore; and then further south towards the Dalmatian islands off from Split.
What is provided:
– an adventure holiday under sail in a relaxed atmosphere – a guided/planned sailing route with a supporting program of events and activities for all skippers and crew, yet still some time for your own personal/crew choice activities
– the priceless exchange of experience between “old hands” and “newcomers” – local coastal knowledge and exploration for all to enjoy and experience
– easy sailing for beginners, with opportunities for learning new skills
– fun challenges for seasoned charterers to “compete in company”

INFORMATION | GETTING THERE | OUTLINE PROGRAM :
The start and end location in Croatia is to be confirmed, but will either been the Split area, or the Biograd area (or between), then sailing around the beautiful islands of the Kornati National Park and also aiming to head south towards the Dalmatian islands off Split.
You can easily get to this area as follows:
– by car, approx 650/750km from Budapest, 800/900km from Milan, 670/770km from Vienna
– by plane to Split Airport or Zadar Airport
(from either airport, you can get to the marina by taxi, by bus, or minibus taxis).

Arrival day: Saturday
– Arrive check-in and settle into your yacht. There will be an evening welcome meeting and drinks — an opportunity to meet all together, getting to know each other and starting the fun!
– Each morning there will be a daily briefing to discuss the day ahead at sea and the “fun challenges”; also to check the passage outline/direction for the next day (depending on weather and sailing conditions).
– During the evenings, there will both be some planned social events, also free time for your own exploration of the beautiful places where we will be stopping.
– We will return to our base marina on Friday for check-out and final night meal and fun!
Departure day: Saturday; disembark 09:00.
